I'm Valeriy. Three IRONMAN finishes — Klagenfurt, Barcelona, Bolton. IRONMAN All World Athlete Silver for the 2019 season. A 2021 Kona slot I couldn't use. Five years off after a back injury that wouldn't quit. I'm racing three triathlons in 18 months on the tool I'm building — Gandia '26, Valencia '27, Italy '27. If it doesn't work, you'll see it. If it does, you'll see that too.
I'm not an ex-pro turned founder. I'm not a coach selling software. I'm an amateur with a job, a family, three IRONMAN finishes that ended in 2021, and a back injury that took five years to come back from. I have one chance to get back to race shape before 50, and I'm building the tool I need to do it — in public, on myself, with three races as the proving ground.
Mavinty exists because the existing options didn't work for me. Static plans ignored my Tuesdays. Coaches cost two car payments a month. Generic AI apps didn't know triathlon. So I built one — and I'm betting my next 18 months of training that it's better.
Picked up endurance racing seriously at 40. Florence Marathon, Kharkiv Epikur, Hackney Half, Oxford Half, MK Festival. First triathlon at Woburn Abbey. The year I learned racing is just training you measured.
Ayia Napa Olympic-distance, Cyprus. IRONMAN 70.3 Greece, Costa Navarino. IRONMAN Klagenfurt, Austria — 7 July. IRONMAN Barcelona, Spain — 6 October. Three IRONMAN-certified races in one calendar year. Earned IRONMAN All World Athlete Silver — 2nd in Ukraine, Global #565. First and only AWA tier in my career. Coached by static plans, club bricks, and stubbornness.
One race in February, then twelve months of cancelled events. Trained anyway — Zwift, the same 3km loop, no pool. Maintenance year, no progression.
World Triathlon Leeds Olympic. Open Swim Kharkiv 3000m. Duathlon Kyiv Cup. IRONMAN UK Bolton — third full-distance finish. Through rolldown, I got the Kona slot for 9 October 2021. By race week I had L4–L5 disc protrusion and couldn't run a kilometre without pain. I withdrew.
L4–L5 rehab. Bought popular plans. Tried two coaches. Static PDFs didn't survive my actual week. Coaches didn't have time for a returning amateur with a kid and a job. Quit twice. The fitness was gone, but the goal — race again before I age out of the sport — was still there.
Wrote a small adaptive scheduler. It worked better than any plan I'd bought because it actually adapted to a 5am training window with a bad back. Friends asked if they could use it. Realised this was a product.
Built the daily check, weekly review, photo nutrition, plan adapter. Tested through 18 months of re-entry training — on myself, every day, every workout. When something didn't work, I rebuilt that week. The proving ground starts now, in public.
Gandia (Half) — 17 October 2026. Valencia 70.3 — April 2027. IRONMAN Italy Cervia — September 2027. Race reports published. Splits posted. Engine logs open. If it works, you'll know. If it doesn't, you'll know that too.
90% of amateurs can't afford a real coach. The other 10% don't need this product.
Coaching at a serious level costs £250–£400/month. That's two car payments, or a mortgage round-up, or your kid's swim lessons + piano. Most of us can't justify it — even when we want it.
The gap is filled by static PDF plans that ignore your week, your watch, and the fact that you bonked Sunday's long run. They don't adapt because they can't. They were designed once and printed forever.
I'm an amateur. I have a job. I train at 5am. I bonk sometimes. I miss workouts when family stuff happens. Mavinty was built understanding all that — because I'm the user.
The bet: if I can build a tool that works for me, on my terms, on my comeback — it'll work for the other 90% too. Not because I'm special. Because the constraints I face (time, money, recovery, life) are the same constraints you face.
If 18 months from now I'm at the start line in Italy, fit and ready, you'll have receipts. If I'm not, you'll have receipts too. That's the deal.
Build the tool you'd buy. Use it on yourself. Show your work.
"Public" is a strong claim. Here's what it actually means.
Every race I run on Mavinty: full splits, RPE log, in-race nutrition, what worked, what didn't. Published within 72hrs.
Every workout I run carries the model's "why." When the model is wrong, I publish that too. Especially when wrong.

£29/month for first 500. Then £39 for everyone else. Same product. Founding rate locked as long as you stay subscribed.
